Stroll through charming downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea and meet the artists who carry on the artist colony legacy and tour their galleries, while sipping Monterey County wines. Meet the Makers takes place on October 14 from 4-7 p.m. and begins at Devendorf Park. Net proceeds will go to the Monterey Wines Foundation and Scholarship Fund. Touring the art galleries is free.

Participating art galleries include: Kevin Milligan Gallery, Delia Bradford Gallery, Gallery North, Galerie Plein Aire, Joaquin Turner Gallery, Bennett Sculpture, Kathy Sharpe Gallery, Mary Titus Gallery, Aaron Chang Gallery, Lisa Bryan Gallery, Scott Jacobs Gallery, Gallery Sur, Lilli-Anne Price Contemporary Fine Art, and the Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery.

Past participating wineries include: Albatross Ridge, DeTierra Vineyards, Hahn Family Wines, Holman Ranch, J.Lohr, Kori Wines, Scheid Vineyards, Talbott Vineyards, Tira Nanza Wines, Windy Oaks Estate, and Wrath Wines.

Lastly, the culinary crafters have included: Carmel Honey Company, Gil’s Gourmet, Olivier Napa Valley and Percy’s Pies.
