Families are invited to celebrate the 2024 Father’s Day at Monterey’s Old Fisherman’s Wharf on Sunday, June 16, 2024. The Wharf will be adorned with festive decorations, creating the perfect backdrop for family photos and selfies.
Let’s honor our fathers by sharing stories about them! New this year is the “Old Fisherman’s Wharf Ultimate Dad Tribute Short Story Contest”. Entrants can send an email to [email protected] with up to 500 words describing a short story about your Dad when he did something that was truly amazing that impacted your life. Submissions are due by June 16, 2024. There will be a drawing and the three winners will receive either $100, $50 or $25 in Wharf Dollars Certificates that can be used at any merchant on Old Fisherman’s Wharf. Wharf restaurants and stores will offer delicious Father’s Day specials for lunch and dinner, and there will be exclusive sale items at various shops, and special whale watching and other boat excursions.
