Join us for the Canine Adoption & Rescue League’s (C.A.R.L.) much-anticipated Pooch Parade event! C.A.R.L. is thrilled to bring back this beloved occasion to pet-friendly Ventura Harbor Village on the Main Lawn. Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 24th, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Get ready for a day filled with fun and heartwarming moments, in support of the dogs under the care of the Canine Adoption & Rescue League. This super-hero themed special canine event will showcase over a dozen vendors, a silent auction, an agility course, music, and captivating dog demonstrations that will keep tails wagging.

At the heart of the Pooch Parade lies the parade itself. Witness the delightful sight of dozens of dogs and their owners strolling along the Ventura Harbor Village Promenade. Pet owners are to be a part of this memorable experience by registering to walk in the Pooch Parade with their four-legged companions. It’s a fantastic opportunity to proudly introduce your furry friend to the world while supporting dogs in need.

Admission to the event is free, and we welcome you to explore and enjoy:

11:00am – Agility Demo
11:45am – Frisbee Demo
12:15pm – Pooch Parade
12:45pm – Award Ceremony
1:00pm – Frisbee Demo
1:30pm – Treibball Demo
2:00pm – Obedience

Participation
There are two walking options available – you can register as an individual or as a team. Each registered walker will receive a goody bag generously provided by our sponsors and donors, along with a commemorative T-shirt! The parade registration fees will contribute to C.A.R.L.’s ongoing efforts. This year’s theme is SUPERHEROES, so don’t hesitate to dress up your pup (and yourself) accordingly!

Individual Walker: $50
Team of 4 Walkers: $180
Additional Walkers (Beyond 4): $40 per individual
You can register ahead of time online via the link below (preferred) or sign up morning of starting at 10am! Look for the CARL registration booth. Exciting prizes await those who raise the most funds, both for individual walkers and teams. Rally your friends and family; together, we can make a difference for our furry companions!
