CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA – Over 100 wines made from 42 different varietals will be available for sampling at the Winemakers’ Celebration. Guests will also have the rare opportunity to ask questions and discuss the wines with the winemakers themselves.

The Monterey County Vintners & Growers Association hosts the county’s signature wine event, the Winemakers’ Celebration, showcasing the wines and winemakers of Monterey County’s world-class growing region. This year, the event moves to Devendorf Park and the surrounding side streets in picturesque Carmel-by-the-Sea.  VIP Experience (1:00pm –4:00pm).  Main Tasting (2:00pm — 4:00pm).

One of Monterey’s premier wine events, the event showcases both the established and small production wineries of Monterey County and its sub-appellations (including Arroyo Seco, Carmel Valley, Chalone, Hames Valley, Monterey, San Antonio Valley, and Santa Lucia Highlands).

Stroll the charming streets of Carmel-by-the-Sea with friends and family, closed exclusively for this celebration. Sample Monterey’s new wines and savor old favorites. Taste the Best Pinot Noirs in California (Wine Spectator Magazine). Learn from local winemakers and wine grape growers.
Meet local chefs from the area’s most popular restaurants, who will provide you lite-bites to pair with your wine. Enjoy live music. Purchase the wines you like and take them home with you. All ticket holders must be age 21 or older.
